Being a former European Tour venue having hosted the Benson & Hedges International for four years, the Andersen Consulting World Championships as well as the Ladies English Open, you know youre somewhere special. Strategically-contoured holes that blend naturally into the surrounding countryside provide a challeging game of golf, topped off by four lakes and 135 bunkers this course makes full use of the terrain and natural elements to provide charateristics similar to those of a links course.

Golf Tuition and Practice Facilities
No matter how proficient you may be at your game, there are times when everyone wants to take some time out to improve their golfing technique. Our golf academy at The Oxfordshire provides you with everything you need to enhance your play, through the expert tuition of true golf professionals. If you would like to spend time practicing your golf, The Oxfordshire provides the perfect setting to do so in quiet, spectacular surroundings. Our world-class driving range extends to over 250 yards and has five strategically placed greens, to cover a full range of shots played from either grass or winter tees. To the far side, there is a chipping green with a green side bunker for those wishing to improve their short game. A bucket of approximately 40 balls costs just 4 and tokens can be purchased from the Pro golf shop.

Getting there
Located 2 miles of junction7 of the M40
Nearest airport: Heathrow
Travel options: From London, leave the M40 at Junction 7 and take the A329 towards Thame. The Oxfordshire Golf Club is on the right-hand side of the A329 just 1.5 miles 2.4 kms from the motorway.
From Birmingham, leave the M40 at Junction 8a no exit at Junction 7 and take the A418 to Thame for 14 mile, then take the first right onto the A40. Follow this road until you arrive at the A329 and turn left. The club is located 112 miles on the right-hand side.
