The Hotel has recently completed a 5 million expansion and refurbishment programme, building 50 new air-conditioned hotel rooms, bringing the total number of hotel rooms to 80. The recent expansion also included a new restaurant, hotel lounge, glass-fronted golf clubhouse and gallery bar and Pippin retail shop.

The hotel enjoys magnificent views over the lake and golf courses. The 80 hotel rooms include luxury honeymoon and executive rooms as well as family rooms. The standard hotel rooms are all spacious, furnished to a high standard in contemporary style, and offer double, twin or single occupancy.

The five brand new country lodges are hand-built and furnished to the highest quality specification, and the luxurious interiors are inspired by the elegant, simple and clean-lined sophistication of the 1940s which link to the origins of the site, which was originally the home of a WW2 Womens Land Army Hostel.

The lodges vary in size and layout, accommodating from two to twelve guests and are available for a short and well-deserved break or for a longer, relaxing holiday. If you are seeking peace and quiet, interesting destinations or leisure activities it is all right here on your hand-built doorstep!

Offering the ultimate in luxury self-catering accommodation, the five Country Lodges boast the very best in open-plan living spaces just perfect for a relaxing holiday in Suffolk. Each Lodge is split into a ground- and a first-floor apartment, with the former having the benefit of a large private deck, and the latter a generously-sized balcony. These apartments can be booked separately, with either one bedroom or two bedroom accommodation available, or the two-storey Lodge can be booked as a whole so groups of up to 12 people can holiday together in a self-contained property, in the ultimate style and luxury.

Confirming its place as one of the region's best restaurants the Lakes Restaurant was recently awarded an AA Rosette and Head Chef, Alan Paton, secured a place in the final of Chef of The Year awards. The delicious, highly-praised menu created for the award is now available in the restaurant.
