Raven, opened in 2000 and designed by Robert Trent Jones II, is a brawny, modern circuit that bobs and weaves through marshes, wetlands, pine trees and carefully-placed water hazards. Holes are framed by a contrasting blend of softly shaped mounds and stark hazards. Large, irregular shaped bunkers serve as guides points (and pitfalls) throughout Ravens 6,931 yards.
Burnt Pine Golf Club

Burnt Pine, designed by Rees Jones, is an exclusive golf experience with a limited number of tee times available to resort guests. At just over 7,000 yards, Burnt Pine is slightly longer than Raven, but no less challenging. The front nine takes golfers on a ride through pine forest and coastal wetlands, while the back nine plays hard along the Choctawhatchee Bay.

Baytowne Golf Club, opened in 1986, was extensively renovated in 2005 by Tom Jackson. It holds the unique distinction as the only course in the region playing from ocean to bay. Wide fairways, gently sloping greens and a clearly-defined landing areas make it the ideal warm-up or arrival day option.

The Links Course is Sandestins original venue, having opened in 1973. Also designed by Jackson, it is a sporty shot-makers layout with five holes routed along the bay. Links is a favorite with local golfers and residents, and approaching its 40th birthday has managed to stand the test of time.

On top of the nearly two dozen venues at The Village of Baytowne Wharf, Sandestin offers guests the opportunity to dine on the beach at Finz Beachside Grille for lunch, and at other locations including the Marina Bar & Grill and three seasonal tiki bars. The Marina Bar & Grill is a great spot for weekend breakfasts, and lunch and early dinner any day of the week.
Golf Tuition and Practice Facilities
Sandestin has created a learning environment to suit the needs of golfers of all ability levels from beginner to advanced. Customized fundamentally sound golf programs for individuals and groups are available. Hourly private lessons or package format lessons, clinics, and junior programs are available year round. The Sandestin Golf Academy uses the same technology utilized by PGA Tour players in its advanced digital video and instructional techniques dramatically speeding up the learning process and making it more enjoyable for students.
