The Etna Golf Resort & Spa stands on the gentle slopes of a property extending over 55 hectares bordering the Etna Park. The Hotel provides a breathtaking view of the top of the volcano, and is surrounded by an 18-hole golf course that winds round the hotel.

The Hotel Etna Golf Resort & SPA is located on the Northeast side of Etna, Southwest of Taormina, between Parco dell'Etna, Parco dei Nebrodi and the Parco Fluviale dell'Alcantara parks.

Built according to the standards of the local culture, the Hotel Etna Golf Resort & SPA features 98 rooms, a restaurant, a wine bar, a bar lounge, six conference halls, an open air swimming pool and a wellness center. It welcomes its guests with luminous sobriety, offering pleasing views of landscape and a service that meets the best international standards. The Picciolo Golf Club, the first 18-hole golf course in Sicily, is set in a natural amphitheatre on the northern slope of the mountain, inside Etna Park, between the municipalities of Randazzo, Linguaglossa and Castiglione di Sicilia. The holes, set in the dark lava rock left by the eruption of 1960, have been designed by the architect Luigi Rota Caremoli, the only Italian to be admitted to the British Institute of Golf Course Architects. He was able to make superb use of the 44 hectares of hilly land, and the technical obstacles fit so well into the landscape that the course seems to be completely natural.

One of the advantages of the Picciolo is that golfers can play the whole year round the ground does not freeze in winter, and in summer the altitude of 650 metres and proximity to the sea, which is about 50 kilometres away, temper the climate which elsewhere is roasting the Island of Sicily. It is to the credit of the promoters that, in just a few years, they have been able to transform an old farmstead, cultivated in hazelnut trees and vines, into an exciting golf course that follow the natural undulations of the land.

Various other activities can be enjoyed in the hotel or in the immediate vicinity, such as, for example, quad biking, trekking, mountain biking, horse riding, free-climbing, excursions on quads or trail bikes.
