The Dolce Chantilly Golf Club was opened in 1991, and has therefore celebrated its 20th anniversary last year. As a fitting celebration for this anniversary, the golf club has been conducting major projects in order to delight members and guests alike. For everyone, this is the opportunity to play in the best conditions on an improved course and enjoy new facilities for more effective training.
Chantilly is lucky to have a superb setting and therefore decided to work on the very architecture of its holes in order to make them more technical and more ambitious. An investment of 350,000 euros has been made to remodel the configuration of a good number of holes and increase the overall difficulty of the course. So, hole 16 becomes a par 5 and bunkers have been created to modify the attack strategies, while the fairways have changed configuration on the majority of holes with clever grass-cutting and different grass thickness.
The idea is to make this course both strategic and fun to play, so as not to discourage high and average handicap players. So visit this course on sunny days and come and challenge these bold changes.
