This is one of the countrys most original golf courses, built in a pinewood setting, with tree lined fairways running parallel along the Atlantic Ocean, giving it's guests breathtaking views along the Algarvian coastline. Architect Martin Hawtrees main concern was to keep the natural surroundings as it was before the course was built.
The jewel of this perfectly kept course is the Par 3 sixth hole. The championship tee is built over a ravine that requires a 198 metre carrying shot over the cliffs to a deep but narrow green.

Accommodation
The Sheraton Algarve offers five different room categories. The Deluxe & Grand Deluxe Rooms are spacious sanctuaries of serene comfort with crisp white linens contrasting beautifully with dark wood furniture. Floor-to-ceiling French doors open onto a balcony overlooking spectacular cliffs and the Atlantic, landscaped gardens or the cobble stoned surroundings. The Deluxe Guest Rooms offers additional living and sitting area, ideal for entertaining guests. The resorts three luxurious range of suites, the Junior, Luxury & Neptune Suites provide guests with added space, luxury and privacy with stunning views over the Atlantic ocean or stunning gardens.
Food and Drink
The Sheraton Algarve Hotel provides its guests a divine dinning experience with a selection of restaurants and bars located on site. Cuisines range from Local, International, Portuguese, Mediterranean, Moroccan, Italian and Japanese. To compliment extraordinary dinning, guests may also experience light entertainment such as Mediterranean show cooking, Moroccan belly dancing, children's buffet, theme nights and live music.
Golf Tuition and Practice Facilities
The state-of-the-art golf practice facilities include an indoor teaching facility with two bays, swing analysis cameras and specialised software to perfect all areas of the golf swing. Designed to help beginners to the sport as well as improve the techniques of more experienced players, the practice area features a driving range with nine different flag positions offering ideal conditions to practice short play and putting. The academy also encompasses two putting greens, and a separate area for chipping and bunker practice, and shaded driving bays.
